| TWO ELECTED SEATS ON THE LAKESIDE COMMUNITY COUNCIL EXPIRE MAY 31, 2012 County elections will be held May 8, 2012. Please read the Elections Process and the Council's By-Laws, and support your community by filing your candidacy with the Flathead Election Department no later than 5:00pm, Thursday, February 23, 2012. Your community needs YOU!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Judge Stadler ruled in favor of Lakeside on most allegations in the lawsuit. A printed copy is also available for review in the West Shore Community Library on Bierney Creek Rd. in Lakeside. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lakeside has been allocated $300,000 to construct a bike / walk path along Blacktail Road from YWAM to Stoner Loop Rd. CLICK HERE for info, maps & pics. Commissioners approved the CTEP Application for Blacktail Trail -- APRIL 5, 2011. Project Agreement between Flathead County and the State of Montana's CTEP program is in process We have until end July 2012 to raise the "matching funds" (about $40,000) required for the project. We already have $8,500 or 21.5% of what's needed.
